Shrimp au gratin for two

½ pounds Shrimp; cooked, cleaned
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
cup Evaporated milk
cup Water
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese; cubed slices white bread; cubed
2 tablespoons Butter; melted
Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Arrange shrimp on the bottom of a 1 quart butter baking dish; melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, and cook the roux gently for 1 to 2 minutes; whisk in the milk and water and cook until sauce is thick and smooth; add paprika and cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese is melted; pour sauce over shrimp; toss the bread with melted butter and spread evenly over shrimp; sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in a pre-heated 400F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
