Shrimp or crabmeat mousse

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pack (3-oz) lemon gelatin
1 cup Boiling water
2 cups Crabmeat or shrimp or 1 cup of each
½ cup Chopped celery
tablespoon Chopped green bell pepper;, optional
½ teaspoon Salt
tablespoon Prepared horseradish
tablespoon Chopped scallions
1 dash Cayenne pepper
½ cup Mayonnaise or salad dressing
½ cup Cream;, whipped
Salad greens

Directions

Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water. When partially congealed add all ingredients except salad greens and blend. Pour into mold. When firm, unmold on salad greens. Serve with asparagus spears or green peas and heated rolls. Serves 4-6. Posted by Ethel Snyder <essie49@...> Date: August 08, 1997
