Skillet beef and rice

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Salad oil
1 medium Onion; chopped
1 medium Green pepper; chopped, optional
1 pounds Extra-lean ground beef
1 cup Enriched regular long-grain rice
1 can Kidney beans; (16 oz.)
1 can Tomatoes; (16 oz.)
1 teaspoon Salt

Directions

In large skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion and pepper, 5 minutes or until tender.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.

Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling.

Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
