Spiced marinade for barbecued pork

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Clove garlic
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Sherry
1 teaspoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
¼ teaspoon Ground anise

Directions

1. Mince garlic; then combine with remaining ingredients.

2. Rub into pork and let stand 1 hour.
