Sweet and sour chicken

Ingredients

4 Chick. breast,halved,skinned
Boned.
½ cup Flour with salt & pepper
cup Oil
1 can 13 oz. pineapple tidbits
cup Juice(water + pineapple juic
cup Cider vinegar
¾ cup Sugar
¼ teaspoon Ginger
1 Chicken bullion cube
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 can Mandarin oranges (10 oz.)
½ cup Marachino cherries-halved

Directions

SAUCE

Shake chicken in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown well both sides in hot oil. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 20 Min.

FOR SAUCE: Mix all ingreds. except pineapple, oranges, and cherries.

Boil for 2 min., stirring. Pour sauce over chicken. Add pineapple, oranges, cherries. Baste and bake 20 min. more. Accompany with hot cooked rice.
