Sweet and sour green beans #1

Ingredients

3 cans (16-oz) green beans; drained
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Vinegar
1 small Onion; chopped
½ cup Almonds
2 slices Bacon
1 can Green beans; drained
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Vinegar
2 tablespoons Chopped onion
2 tablespoons Almonds

REGULAR VERSION

QUICKIE VERSION

Fry bacon, crumble & save drippings. Combine sugar, vinegar & drippings.

Heat until sugar dissolves. Layer beans, onion & almonds in large casserole. Pour sugar mixture over beans. Cover & bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Sprinkle with crumbled bacon before serving. Quickie version: Heat all ingredients in small saucepan with a small amount of water for about 30 minutes.
