Sweet and sour spareribs #1

Ingredients

2 | pounds | Spareribs |
1½ | cup | Water |
1 | slice | Ginger |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | Clove garlic; crushed | |
1 | tablespoon | Soy sauce |
1 | cup | Brown sugar |
⅔ | cup | Cider vinegar |
3 | tablespoons | Oil |
Directions
Cut ribs into 1-½" pieces. Sprinkle with soy sauce and flour, mix gently. Heat oil, then add garlic and ginger. Brown ribs; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes.
