Sweet and sour spareribs #3

Ingredients

2½ | pounds | Meaty pork spareribs |
3 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
1 | Jar (small) strained apricots | |
1½ | teaspoon | Molasses |
1½ | teaspoon | Dark corn syrup |
½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
1 | dash | Tabasco sauce |
¼ | cup | Chili sauce |
1 | Clove (small) garlic; crushed | |
1 | tablespoon | Soy sauce |
½ | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
Salt & pepper | ||
¼ | cup | Firmly packed brown sugar |
Directions
Sprinkle ribs with salt & pepper. Broil for 5 minutes per side. Place in a large baking dish.
Prepare the sauce by mixing all the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
Heat on medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Lower oven heat to 350F. Pour half the sauce over the ribs and bake uncovered for half an hour. Pour the remaining sauce over spareribs and continue to bake for another half hour. Serve hot.
