Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
1 cup Sugar
2 cups Boiling Water
½ cup Molasses
½ cup Cider Vinegar
6 cups Cold Water

Directions

1. Blend the ginger and sugar together. Pour in boiling water and stir to dissolve. Mix in molasses and vinegar. Let cool.

2. Add the cold water and chill thoroughly. Serve with ice cubes, if desired.

NOTE: Old colonial recipe, great thirst quencher. Makes about 8½ cups.
