cup Vinegar
¼ cup Fresh parsley -- minced
3 tablespoons Fresh basil -- minced
Or 1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Spoon garlic powder
1 medium Sweet onion -- thinly
Siiced
6 larges Tomatoes -- thinly sliced

Directions

In a small bowl or a jar with a tight-fitting lid, mix the first nine ingredients. Layer onion and tomatoes in a shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade over; cover and refrigerate for several hours. Yield: 12 servings
