Texas turkey pasta sauce

Ingredients

12 ounces Ground turkey
14½ ounce Can salsa with cilantro
8 ounces Cn whole-kernel corn;drained
4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese; cut in cubes (1 cup)

Directions

Prepare 12 ounces pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile... Cook ground turkey in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up clumps, 3 to 4 minutes until no longer pink. Reduce heat to medium-low.

Stir in salsa and corn. Cover and simmer 4 to 5 minutes to blend flavors.

Before draining pasta, scoop off about ¼ cup of the pasta cooking water. After draining, return pasta to pot along with reserved cooking water.

Toss sauce and cheese with hot pasta. Serves 4.
