Warm saute of winter fruit

2 | tablespoons | Maple syrup |

⅓ | cup | Raisins or currants |
⅓ | cup | Walnuts or pecans -- |
Chopped | ||
1 | dash | Ground cinnamon |
1 | dash | Nutmeg |
2 | tablespoons | Water |
2 | tablespoons | Brandy |
Directions
1. Melt butter in a saute pan or large skillet. Stir in maple syrup and adjust to taste.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat and stir until fruits are tender.
* Timesaver Tip: Ingredients can be prepared ahead; rub apple and pear slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
