Whole wheat and honey banana bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Whole wheat flour
¾ cup All-purpose flour
teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
cup Softened butter
cup Honey
2 Eggs; beaten
3 Very ripe bananas
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg

Directions

Sift flour together, add baking powder and salt, resift. Cream together butter and honey, beat in eggs, then bananas. Add spices, add flour in 2 or 3 parts. Blend well. (Optional: walnuts, raisins, etc). Bake at 350F for about an hour. Makes one loaf.
