Banana-pecan delights

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Butter (or marg.); softened
1 cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 cups Flour, cake
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
2 larges Bananas, ripe; mashed
½ cup Pecans; finely chopped

Directions

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine mashed bananas and pecans.

Add dry ingredients and banana mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Stir until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
