Barbecue Sauce: | ||
4 | tablespoons | Minced onion |
1 | can | (2 cups) tomato juice |
½ | cup | Catsup |
½ | cup | Sugar (less if desired) |
3 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
2 | tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Paprika |
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder |
½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | dash | Ground cloves |

From: Elizabeth Dye <lizdye@...> Date: Sat, 29 Jun 1996 17:41:53 -0500 Seasoned ground beef with salt and pepper, form into balls and brown on all sides in frying pan. Since I got this recipe when my children were small I usually used elbow macaroni, it's easier to eat.
Combine ingredients in order given. Simmer while preparing meatballs. When meatballs are brown place in sauce and simmere 30 minutes. For variation, long precooked spaghetti may be added after meatballs are done.
