Barley basil pilaf

2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil
1 cup Pear Barley Uncooked
2 cups Chicken Broth
½ teaspoon Salt
cup Minced Fresh Cinnamon
Basil OR Plain Basil
¼ cup Thinkly Sliced Green
Onions
teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

Directions

Heat Oil in A 1 Quart Saucepan Over Medium Heat Just Until Hot, Not Smoking. Add Barley & Cook 5 Min. OR Until Browned, Stirring Constantly. Add Chicken Broth & Salt, Bring To A Boil. Cover & Reduce Heat & Simmer 30 Min. OR Until Barley Is Tender And Liquid Is Absorbed. Remove From Heat. Stir in Basil, Green Onions & Nutmeg.
