Black eyed peas the new way (hl)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Black eyed peas
6 cups Water
2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Yellow onion
1 Red pepper
Salt; to taste
1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Directions

Bring peas to a very low boil. Add all ingredients and cook for 1 hour.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Yield: 6 servings
