Brown sugar pecans - sl 11/81

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 eaches Egg whites
¾ cup Brown sugar; firmly packed
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
1 pinch Salt
2 cups Pecan halves

Directions

Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until stiff peaks form.

Gradually add sugar, beating until well blended. Fold in remaining ingredients.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250F for 30 minutes. Remove from sheet to wire racks to cool. Yield: 6 to 7 dozen.
