Corn oat-bran bread

½ cup Yellow cornmeal
½ cup Oat bran
½ cup Skim milk
¼ cup Chopped onion
¼ cup Chopped green bell pepper
1 each Egg white
1 teaspoon Baking powder
teaspoon Ground allspice
teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Prehead oven to 350 degrees F. Blend all ingredients and pour into a small (8X14-inch) nonstick loaf pan. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.

Variations: Using ½ cup fresh corn kernels in place of the onion and bell pepper is a tasty alternative. The addition of ¼ tsp cayenne will add a nice bit of spice to this bread.
