Fruity oat and bran bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Minus (see next ingredient)
½ cup Whole wheat flour
ounce Bran
¾ ounce Quick cooking oats uncooked
1 teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons Plus (see next ingredient)
2 teaspoons Margarine, melted
3 tablespoons Firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup Skim milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1 cup Applesauce
1 teaspoon Freshly grated orange peel
¼ cup Raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowlm combine both flours, bran, oats, baking soda, and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients except raisins. Beat with a wire whisk until blended. Add to dry ingredients with raisins and mix well. Place in a 4X8 nonstick loaf pan. Bake 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove to rack to finish cooling.

Per serving: 4g protein, 5g fat, 28g carb., 163mg sodium, 34mg chol., 171 calories.
