Country-style sauerkraut & sausages

1 can Sauerkraut,Bavarian(16oz)
1 Egg,beaten
cup Potatoes,mashed,prepared
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Onion,grated

Directions

1. Brown sausages in butter over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes, turning frequently.

2. Stir in sauerkraut and brown sugar; warm through. 3. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole; set aside. 4. Add egg and onion to mashed potatoes; stir well. 5. Spread potato mixture over sauerkraut; bake in preheated 350'F.
