Cowman's barbecue sauce

Ingredients

1 | cup | Vinegar |
1 | cup | Catsup |
1 | Juice of 1 lemon | |
8 | ounces | Tomato sauce or tomato paste |
1 | (1 can) | |
3 | larges | Onions, diced |
1 | large | Clove garlic, minced |
½ | cup | Brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | tablespoon | Liquid smoke |
1 | tablespoon | Red chili powder |
2 | teaspoons | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Black pepper |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together, blending well, and simmer at least 1 hour, but longer is better. Serve on roast, ribs, steaks or beefburgers. Leftovers can be frozen.
