Cream of pecan soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Butter
½ cup Onion, diced
1 tablespoon Flour
2 cups Broth (OR
2 cups Water AND
1 Vegetable bouillon cube)
½ teaspoon Soy sauce
½ teaspoon Vegetable seasoning
1 Dash nutmeg
1 cup Pecans, ground fine
½ cup Celery leaves
cup Cream or half & half
4 Sprigs mint

Directions

Melt butter; add onion and saute 5 minutes. Stir in flour and broth. Add seasonings, pecans, and celery leaves; simmer 10 minutes.

Stir in cream and simmer 5 minutes longer. Serve with mint.
