Curried date dressing for salad

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
8 ounces Chopped dates; (1 box)
1 medium Onion; quartered
2 tablespoons Curry powder
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Red wine vinegar
¾ cup Water
¼ cup Canola oil

Directions

Place all ingredients, except the oil, in a blender or food processor and blend for 1 minute. Slowly add the oil while the blender is still running.

Makes 2-½ cups.

Each ¼ cup serving contains 128 cals, 0 chol., 6 g. fat. Serve on vegetable and fruit salads. Use as sauce for poultry, lamb or pork.
