Fresh tomato pasta with ham, cream and mushroom sauce

1 | cup | Sliced baby mushrooms |

4 | slices | Leg ham, chopped |
1 | each | Clove garlic, crushed |
Chopped basil to taste | ||

300 | millilitres | Cream |
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Chopped parsley |

SAUCE
Cook pasta in boiling, salted water (2 minutes if fresh, 15 minutes if dried). Drain, return to saucepan and stir in some butter. To make sauce: saute mushrooms lightly in butter. Add ham, a little garlic, basil, salt and pepper; stir in cream and heat. Pour the sauce over the noodles, sprinkle with cheese and chopped parsley and serve.
