Garlic - broiled shrimp

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Unpeeled large shrimp
½ cup Butter or margarine; melted
½ cup Olive oil
¼ cup Fresh parsley; minced
1 tablespoon Green onion; minced
3 cloves Garlic; minced
teaspoon Lemon juice
Coarsely ground black pepper

Directions

Peel shrimp, leaving tails on; devein and butterfly. Set shrimp aside.

Combine next 6 ingredients in a large shallow dish. Add shrimp, tossing well to coat. Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Broil shrimp 4 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes; turn and broil an additional 3 to 4 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with pepper; serve with pan drippings. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
