Georgia peach cream pie

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Flour
3 tablespoons Cornstarch
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Milk
2 Well beaten egg yolks
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
2 cups Sliced fresh peaches
1 9-inch baked pie shell
Sweetened whipped cream

Directions

Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt. Add milk slowly and cook over boiling water until mixture begins to thicken. Add well-beaten egg yolks and butter and cook until mixture thickens. Add lemon juice and cool.

Arrange 1 cup sliced peaches in pie shell. Pour in filling and top with remaining peaches. Chill thoroughly and top with sweetened whipped cream.
