Goat cheese and olive spread

Ingredients

4 | ounces | Goat cheese (chevre) |
4 | ounces | Cream cheese or ricotta cheese, at room temperature |
2 | Green onions, chopped | |
¼ | cup | Chopped fresh basil |
2 | tablespoons | Olive oil |
2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
¼ | cup | Coarsely chopped black olives |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
Assorted fresh vegetables | ||
(carrots,celery,fennel,green beans,cauliflower), cut in bite-sized pieces |
Directions
1. Blend together goat cheese and cream cheese in food processor or by hand until smooth.
2. Add green onions, basil, olive oil and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Add olives and pepper and combine just to incorporate olives.
