Golden baked halibut

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Halibut, snapper or cod fillets
Seasoned bread crumbs
½ cup Mayonnaise
teaspoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ cup Sour cream or plain lowfat yogurt
1 each Egg white, beaten stiff
¼ cup Green onion, chopped
¼ cup Sliced almonds
1 dash Paprika

Directions

Preparation : Dip fillets into seasoned bread crumbs. Place in shallow baking dish; set aside. Combine mayonnaise with lemon juice. Add sour cream, blend well. Gently fold in egg white. Sprinkle fish with onion.

Spoon mayonnaise mixture over top. Sprinkle with almonds and paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily. Serves 4 to 6.
