Gooseberry pie (fresh berries)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Gooseberries
teaspoon Cinnamon
4 tablespoons Flour
cup Sugar, to 3/4 cup

Directions

Mix together dry ingredients. Mix lightly through berries. Pour into 8" pie pan. Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter. If fruit is dry, sprinkle 2 tablespoons water. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, until crust is brown, and juice begins to bubble through slit in crust.
