Grandma calvert's pie dough

Ingredients

4 | cups | Flour |
1¾ | cup | Shortening |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
2 | teaspoons | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | White vinegar |
1 | Egg | |
½ | cup | Water |
Directions
Crumble together flour, shortening, sugar and salt into pea-sized crumbs.
Mix vinegar, egg and water. Add to flour mixture a little at a time until all mixed. Let set for 15 minutes then divide into 4 crusts and roll out.
Freezing instructions: Before rolling out put into small freezer bags and freeze. To use, thaw to room temperature and roll out.
