Honey orange nut bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Honey
2 tablespoons Crisco
1 Whole egg
tablespoon Orange peel
cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
¾ cup Orange juice
¾ cup Walnuts; chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together honey and crisco. Add egg and peel. Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice. Stir in nuts. Pour into PAM sprayed 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes. Bread tastes better after a few days to 'age'.
