Orange pecan bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
1 cup Honey
1 Egg; beaten
teaspoon Orange peel; grate
cup Sifted flour
teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
¾ cup Orange juice
¾ cup Pecans; chop

Directions

Preheat oven to 350~. Cream butter and honey until thoroughly combined. Add egg and orange peel. In separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add the flour mixture and orange juice, alternating, to the creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into a greased 9x5x3 loaf pan and bake at 350~ for about 1 hour.
