Individual chocolate fondue with fresh fruits

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Heavy cream
7 ounces Best quality bittersweet chocolate
Seasonal fruit; strawberries
; papayas pineapple
Dried fruit; apricots
Peanuts; chopped
Almonds; sliced and toasted
Coconut; toasted
Wooden skewers

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, bring the cream to a boil over moderate heat.

2. Place the chocolate in a medium bowl and pour in the hot cream.

3. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.

4. Divide the chocolate evenly between four ramekins or pudding bowls.

5. Set each ramekin on a plate and arrange assorted fruits around them.

*This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for larger parties.
