Jeff's breakfast gravy

Ingredients

4 | eaches | Tb Bacon or sausage drippings |
¼ | cup | Flour |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | cup | Milk |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | teaspoon | Black pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Chili powder (or to taste) |
Reserve the drippings from frying sausage or bacon. |
Directions
While heating over medium high, add the flour slowly, stirring constantly with spatula. When flour combines with drippings, slowly pour in water and mild combined. Stir constantly. Add remaining ingredients to mixture. Turn heat to high until boiling. When gravy starts to thicken, reduce heat to medium-low. Keep stirring!
