Kraut 'n frank chowder

4 - 6 folks

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Butter -=OR=-
¼ cup Margarine;
1 pounds Wieners; cut into 1/2\" chunks
2 larges Onions; chopped
1 Stalk celery; chopped
1 can (16-oz) sauerkraut; drained
1 Bay leaf;
¼ teaspoon Pepper;
¼ teaspoon Thyme;
1 tablespoon Instant beef bouillon;
3 cups Water;

Directions

Heat pressure cooker. Add butter, brown wierners. Remove wierners.

Saute onions and celery until tender. Stir wieners, sauerkraut, bay leaf, pepper, thyme, bouillon, and water. Close cover securely.

Place pressure regulator on vent pipe. COOK 5 MINUTES. Let pressure drop of its own accord. 4 to 6 servings.
