Lemon herb seasoning salt substitute

3¼ | tablespoon | Dried oregano |
1½ | tablespoon | Finely ground black pepper |
1½ | tablespoon | Dried onion flakes |
1½ | tablespoon | Whole celery seed |
1¼ | tablespoon | Powdered basil |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
½ | teaspoon | Grated lemon rind |
Directions
Place all ingredients in a medium bowl. Toss gently with spoon until well blended just before using. (For a more lemony flavor, add fresh lemon juice). Store in an air-tight container in a cool, dry, dark place for up to 6 months. Makes 1 cup.
This seasoning is good on fish, poultry and salads.
