Low-fat whole wheat pancakes

⅔ | cup | Buttermilk |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
2 | Egg whites | |

Directions
Fructose is 50% sweeter than regular sugar, with the same number of calories per tsp. This recipe does not use butter or egg yolks and is high fiber as well.
In a medium bowl mix flour, soda and sugar. In another bowl mix together buttermilk, egg whites and vanilla. Combine the milk and flour mixtures and stir until just blended. Pour ¼ c portions into a skillet or onto a grill coated with a nonstick veg oil spray. Makes for 4 pancakes or 2 servings.
Per 2 pancake serving: 173 cal., 1 g. fat, 3⅘ g fiber Serve with skim milk yogurt and fresh fruit instead of butter and syrup to keep this meal low cal. and nutritious.
