Marinated fresh mozzarella and olives

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 pounds Fresh mozzarella; sliced 1/3-inch
; thick
½ cup Olive oil
3 tablespoons Fresh oregano; finely chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
Assorted olives; gaeta kalamata
; picholine

Directions

1. Place the slices of cheese in a shallow baking dish.

2. Toss with the olive oil, oregano, and black pepper.

3. Let sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Transfer cheese to a platter and garnish with an assortment of olives.

*This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for larger parties.
