Mennonite carrot salad

2 | Tart apples (I usually use MacIntosh apples) | |
¾ | cup | Raisins |
1 | teaspoon | Lemon juice |

Dear Marilyn & all - This is a yummy carrot/raisin salad my family loves.
I'm not sure where I got the recipe originally, but it was when we lived n the Philadelphia area. May have been in the Philly paper. I have used this as a summer salad for over 25 years. The kids love it! Mix well. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
**NOTE: No dressing is needed, as the apples and carrots provide plenty of moisture.
