Mustard glazed almond carrots

3 tablespoons Firmly packed dark brown sur
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Blanched slivered almonds,
. toasted
1 pounds Carrots, 1/4 inch thick,
. peeled & diagonally sliced
1 tablespoon Chopped parsley

Directions

PER SERVING

In small bowl, combine first three ingredients and set aside. Cook carrots in small amount of lightly salted water until barely tender.

Drain carrots and put back into pan, along with the mustard sauce.

Cook over low heat for about 1 minute until carrots are glazed and hot. Stir in almonds and parsley and serve.
