1 | Stick (2inch) cinnamon | |

½ | cup | Whole wheat couscous |
1 | teaspoon | Liquid honey or to taste |
2 | tablespoons | Toasted chopped pecans(opt) |
Directions
Drain juice from oranges into glass measure. Add orange or apple juice to mandarin juice if nesessary, so that it measures ¾ cup. In a small sauce pan, combine juice, cinnamon stick and cloves; bring to boil over high heat. Stir in couscous. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 2 minutes, stirring, until liquid is absorbed. Remove saucepan from heat; let stand, for 5 mins. Gently stir in mandarin orange segments and honey. Serve hot, sprinkled with pecans. 233 calories 1 fat gram.
