Pear sauce topping

½ cup Water
½ cup Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

Combine water, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour over pears that have been halved and scooped out and either poached, oven baked or microwaved. Garnish and serve. You can also baste with this sauce during baking. Very nice and extremely aromatic. This recipe should make enough sauce to top 6-8 pear halves.
