Pepper burgers

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Very lean ground beef
1 each Egg white
¾ ounce Wheat germ
1 cup Very finely chopped red and/or green pepper
¼ cup Tomato sauce
¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Dry mustard
1 pack Beef broth mix
Pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients, shape into 4 patties. Place on rack in broiler pan or on grill and cook 3 incehs from heat about 5 minutes per side, or until done to taste.

Per serving: 23g protein, 16g fat, 6g carb., 423mg sodium, 70mg chol., 259 calories.
