Printemps chowder

Ingredients

1 | cup | Shelled new peas; (1 pound) ( I have used frozen) |
⅓ | cup | Finely sliced green onions; including tender tops |
1 | cup | Water |
1 | cup | Raw potatoes; cut in 1/4-inch cubes |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
1 | tablespoon | Flour |
1½ | cup | Milk |
¼ | cup | Quartered; thinly sliced radishes |
1 | tablespoon | Chopped parsley |
Directions
Cook peas and onions in water uncovered for 10 minutes. Add potatoes and salt. Continue cooking 6 to 8 minutes. Blend butter and flour over low heat, add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Combine with peas, potatoes and their liquid. SIMMER 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
