Printemps chowder

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Shelled new peas; (1 pound) ( I have used frozen)
cup Finely sliced green onions; including tender tops
1 cup Water
1 cup Raw potatoes; cut in 1/4-inch cubes
1 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Butter
1 tablespoon Flour
cup Milk
¼ cup Quartered; thinly sliced radishes
1 tablespoon Chopped parsley

Directions

Cook peas and onions in water uncovered for 10 minutes. Add potatoes and salt. Continue cooking 6 to 8 minutes. Blend butter and flour over low heat, add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Combine with peas, potatoes and their liquid. SIMMER 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
