Prune-apricot compote

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Pitted prunes
1 cup Dried apricots
5 cups Water
cup Frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate
2 Sticks orange zest -or-
½ Orange sliced; quartered
½ Lemon
2 tablespoons Brandy (optional)

Directions

From: elayne@... (Elayne Cohen) Date: Wed, 17 Jul 1996 21:34:29 GMT Mix all ingredients in a 3-quart glass casserole. Cover and microwave on high for 15 minutes or until prunes and apricots are plumped and soft.

Cover and refrigerate to chill before serving.
