Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
¼ | cup | Sugar; I use dark brown |
2 | tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | tablespoon | Molasses |
½ | cup | Water |
½ | cup | Vinegar; white |
1 | teaspoon | Texas Pete |
⅛ | teaspoon | Curry powder; (up to 1/4) |
1 | cup | Ketchup |
¼ | teaspoon | Celery Salt |
Black pepper to taste |
Directions
This is a recipe that I have been working on for a couple of months. It is very flexible to suit your taste.
Mix and heat to a light boil then simmer. Then add the Juice from ½ Lemon and serve. A dash of liquid smoke can be added, not for smoke flavor but for the bitter taste it has. By the way I have also been working on a hotdog chili if your interested.
