Savory meat loaf (kottfars)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Dry bread crumbs
cup Milk
1 Egg,beaten
1 pounds Beef ground
¼ pounds Ground pork or sausage meat
1 teaspoon Salt
teaspoon Nutmeg
4 Diced bacon slices, crisp cooked. drained
2 Onions, sliced thin

Directions

from: the wonderful world of cooking Saok crumbs in milk for several minutes. Add next 5 ingredients. Mix. Place ⅓ of meat mixture in bottom of loaf pan. Spread with ½ of the bacon ~onion mixture . Cover with ½ of the remaining meat mixture. Spread with remaining bacon-onion mixture. top with remaining meat. Pack down into loaf pan. Bake at 350 degs for 1 hour.
