Simply superb texas style pecan pie

3 Eggs; beaten
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla
6 tablespoons Butter
cup Pecans; chopped or halves
1 Unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350øF.

Beat the eggs thoroughly with the sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and melted butter. Add the pecans. Pour into the unbaked pie shell. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a knife inserted halfway between outer crust and center comes out clean.
