Sour cream cucumber dressing

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ medium Cucumber
1 cup Dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Sugar [opt'l]
½ teaspoon Salt [opt'l]
1 teaspoon Dill; fresh, chopped OR
½ teaspoon Dried dill
1 teaspoon [or more] grated onion
1 dash Hot pepper sauce

Directions

Halve the cucumber lengthwise, removing the seeds and then cut the cucumber in pieces. Add to a blender containing all of the rest of the ingredients and blend in short bursts until the cucumber is finely chopped. (When necessary, stop the blender and use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides.) Refrigerate at least one hour to chill and allow flavors to blend before using.

Makes 1¾ cups.
